This is my prayer in the desert, when all that's within me feels dry

One Sweet Day

Haven blogged for a long time... and nope, i've not lost my youth ha! Anyway, on my way home from gym earlier on, the Class 95 DJ read out a letter over the radio. A woman wrote in to dedicate a song for her cousin. Well, her beloved cousin passed away suddenly in malaysia due to a heart attack. Sadly, she last met him a month ago, at his wedding dinner. Yes.. he was only married for a month. To make matters worse, she was unable to attend his funeral, unable to bid him the last farewell... She asked Yasmin (DJ) to play a song that could help the family tide over this difficult period..

i was wondering what song Yasmin would choose.. and the moment the song was played, i knew it was such a befitting song for the occasion.. It's an old song by Mariah Carey, and now i truly understand its meaning.
